As Senior Proposal Manager, you will support Business Development activities through the management and production of high quality proposals and budgets for new and existing customers, seeking input from a variety of internal stakeholders and working to agreed timelines.

 

Principal Responsibilities Include:

Prepare and finalize proposals, working with Business Development and Operations to build effective documents following the current department processes, meeting department metrics and KPIs defined by the Line Manager

Maintain responsibility for own proposals, with the ability to independently manage more complex proposals, to multi-task across multiple proposals, and to keep proposals on time and/or seek support to do soPrepare Task Orders and Change Orders, assuming responsibility for documents until they are signed

RFIs – Review and complete Requests for Information, obtaining additional input from internal stakeholders as needed, and providing ongoing support and final review to ensure completeness, consistency, accuracy and readability of all responsesMaintain correct proposal information and status within departmental systems

Job requirements

Skills and Experience Required:

Ideally a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a CRO proposals environment, or equivalent experience. Alternatively an operational background in CRO or Pharma with a desire to move into a commercial role. Differing levels of seniority within the team are available for the right candidate, depending on levels of experience.Appreciation of commercial aspects of clinical development and ability to read and understand documents of contractual significanceAdvanced Excel skillsWide-ranging understanding of clinical research processes and servicesFluent written and spoken English
